Iqama Magazine Update: October 2019

It is October and we are quickly approaching the 1 year anniversary of the official launch of Iqama Magazine. We are very thankful for the ongoing support of our readers, listeners, bloggers, and podcast guests. As a way to celebrate and to refresh our intentions, we are proud to announce the following changes that we are making to better serve you!

Iqama Magazine is now a free e-magazine. Free to Read – Free to Download – Free to Print – Free to Share!

In our first year, one of the biggest challenges we faced was balancing printing and distribution logistics, with the need to grow, and the cost of production. We have decided that it is more important to reach our intended audience than it is to profit from subscription costs so we have eliminated subscription costs all together. That’s right – Iqama Magazine is now FREE!

The next few months will be dedicated to restructuring our business and our website.

 Business was put on hold for the last few months as we saw a need to rest and restructure. Now that we have a new business strategy, we are ready to get back to creating useful content that shares the stories and experiences of Muslims across the United States

All of the old editions of Iqama Magazine will be available online by December 2019.

This includes the following editions: October 2018, January 2019, and April 2019. As a bonus, we will also be creating a significant amount of new content that we are excited to share with you.

We are growing our list of contributors and are recruiting bloggers from across the United States.
